Andalusia High School holds Signing Day for nine athletes

Andalusia High School recognized nine senior athletes at a signing day event in front of a large crowd at the AHS Auditorium on Thursday, May 4.
Four seniors will be playing football followed by two each for volleyball and softball, and one will continue playing basketball.
“Thank you to all nine senior athletes for what you have meant to Andalusia High School. Your hard work and effort has paid off, and you will be moving on to postsecondary education as well as playing the sport that you love. I wish you the best and much success, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you on the athletic field or just in life general,” AHS Principal Ray Wilson said.
Mollie Furr will be playing softball at Birmingham Southern. She is the daughter of Willie and Amanda Furr. Mollie has played softball for the Lady Bulldogs since the seventh grade.
Jaeden Jackson will be playing football at East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi. He is the son of April Shiver Jackson and Robert Jackson. Jaeden started playing football for the Bulldogs in 2022 when he transferred for his senior year.
Tycamren Jackson will be playing football at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. He is the son of Lakinin and D’Rik Jackson. Tycamren has played football for the Bulldogs for two years.
Ashland Kelley will be playing volleyball at LBW Community College. She is the daughter of Sarah and Jason Kelley. Ashland has been a member of the Lady Bulldog volleyball team for six years.
Olivia Mikel will be playing softball at LBW Community College. She is the daughter of Anthony and Amy Mikel. Olivia has played on the Lady Bulldog varsity softball team since the seventh grade.
Dianna-Grace Nelson will be playing basketball at Coastal Alabama Community College in Monroeville, Alabama. She is the daughter of Stephanie and John Wesley Snodgrass. Dianna-Grace has played on the Lady Bulldog basketball team since the eighth grade.
Cedric “C.J.” Sinkfield will be playing football at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. He is the son of Tiffany and Anthony Anderson. C.J. has played football for the Bulldogs for three years.
Brody Stewart will be playing football at the University of North Alabama in Florence. He is the son of Derrick and Candace Stewart. Brody has played football for the Bulldogs for three years.
Zion Williams will be playing volleyball for Enterprise State Community College. She is the daughter of Selena and Michael Lockhart. Zion has been a member of the Lady Bulldog volleyball team for six years.
