Dr. and Mrs. Roger Todd Boyington of Andalusia announce the engagement of their daughter, Aubrey Carol, to Mr. Robert Wayne Hardie, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wayne Hardie, of Opelika, Alabama.

Miss Boyington is the granddaughter of Mr. Curtis Jackson Zorn, and the late Mrs. Michaelyn Mallette Zorn, of LaBelle, Florida and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ashford Boyington, of Florala. She is a graduate of Andalusia High School and Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Nursing, and Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently employed by East Alabama Health in Opelika.

Mr. Hardie is the grandson of Mrs. Virginia Spears Lineback, and the late Mr. Carles Leon Lineback, of Woodstock, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Franklin Hardie, of Milledgeville, Georgia. He is a graduate of Luella High School in Locust Grove, Georgia, the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Auburn University, where he earned a Master of Education. He is currently employed by Lee County Schools, Alabama as a teacher and coach at Beauregard High School.

The wedding will be May 27, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia.
