Members of the Covington County Sheriff’s Office tracked down a suspect.
In the morning hours of Tuesday, March 22, at approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies located and arrested Kenneth Lamar Douglas who was found in a wooded area near the Bradley Community, inside Covington County.
Douglas faces charges of second degree domestic violence and a parole violation.
“Utilizing investigative techniques and a lot of tenacity, Douglas was taken into custody. The hunt for him was arduous. We never rested and ran down a lot of leads. These officers’ can-do, never-quit attitudes can put our community at ease,” said Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman.
Douglas is currently being held with no bond.
“Thank you to all of the agencies that assisted: CCSO deputies and tracking team, ALEA, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Forestry Service,” Turman said.
