Former Walmart employee charged with theft

In July of 2021, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) launched an investigation at the request of the Andalusia Police Department regarding an employee theft at the Walmart in Andalusia.
The suspect, identified as Veeta Dorene Stallworth, 55, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, and charged with first-degree theft of property.
Stallworth, who previously worked at the Andalusia Walmart as the Asset Protection Assistant Manager, was booked in the Covington County Jail with a bond set at $20,000.
Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing.
