The Covington County Revenue Commissioner’s office is seeking property tax payments from 1,597 parcels and 159 business personal property accounts, which remain unpaid as of Monday, Feb. 14.

“Late fees increase with certified mail, so we strongly recommend taxpayers make their payments as soon as possible. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Payments can also be made through our website by following the Pay Property Taxes link. Please be advised county offices will be closed for Presidents’ Day on Monday, Feb. 21,” Revenue Commissioner Chuck Patterson said.

Payments can be made through the United States Postal Service, online at www.covcounty.com, or in person at the Revenue Commissioner’s office inside the Covington County Courthouse. A 2.35 percent service fee for all credit and debit card transactions will apply.

The mailing address is Covington County Revenue Commission; 1 North Court Square; Andalusia, AL 36420.

All checks should be made payable to Covington County Revenue Commission.
