Jackie Padgett, age 66, of Andalusia died February 18, 2021 a Pensacola Florida hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was born August 14, 1954 in Florala, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ida and Edgar “Jake” Goff, and her maternal grandmother, Cleo Greer.

She is survived by her husband, David Padgett; her daughter and son-in-law Sophia and Nathaniel Wheeler; her son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Ashley White; her grandchildren, Tesla Tousignant and husband Alan, Jared Gray Riley White, Katie White, Lexie Kirksey, and Emma White; great granddaughter Loralai Gray.

Jackie worked for more than twenty years as a Registered Nurse before a disabling injury forced her retirement. Since then, she has tended to her family as homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.

For the past two years, her most cherished role has been guardian/caregiver to her granddaughters Riley and Katie. We miss you Granmommie. At her request Jackie was cremated in Pensacola, and a memorial service will be planned in Andalusia at a later date.
