Mrs. Kathy Harrelson Warren- Moss, 62, of Goltry, OK, formerly of Red Level, passed away on January 16, 2021.
She was born in Red Level, AL on March 10, 1958, where she spent her childhood and attended Red Level School. She was the youngest of six children born to the late W. C. and Jewell (Cooper) Harrelson.
On September 8, 1979, she married John M. Warren. To this union were born three children. He passed away on September 6, 2001. Kathy was employed at Red Level School for many years in many different capacities. Her time at the school was very dear to her and made many lasting friendships. On July 24, 2014, she was married to her second husband, Richard B. Moss. Included with this marriage were four bonus children which she loved as her own.
Kathy had a deep relationship with the Lord. She maintained a constant commitment to her faith in her life. Kathy was a proud member of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, at Goltry, OK.
Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, Richard, three children, Geoffrey and Kelsie Warren of Goltry, OK Cody and Kelli Warren, Allison and Andrew Johnson, all of Opp, AL; four bonus children, Ryan Moss of Dayton, TN, Catee and Jordan Buckner of Hayden, AL, Riley of Moss of Ames, OK, Rusty Moss of Hayden, AL; 13 grandchildren who affectionately she called her “Shug Shug”; five siblings, Terry and Peggy Harrelson of River Falls, Sandra Brook of River Falls, Sheila and Jamie Kelley of Andalusia, Charles and Brenda Harrelson of Red Level, Roger and Susan Harrelson of Pace, FL; her sister-in-law, Lynn and Tony Holmes; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.
Memorial Services will be held at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Goltry, OK on January 22, 2021.
Local arrangements are: Visitation was held at Foreman Funeral Home on Sunday January 24, 2021 from 1-3 PM with a 3:30 PM graveside service to follow in River Falls Cemetery in River Falls, AL.
