Jan White, a religion columnist printed weekly in The Andalusia Star-News, has published a compilation of eighty of her columns in a book titled “Everyday Faith for Daily Life.”  She has written a weekly column for The Star-News for over 25 years.

“I am excited to announce that my book of selected religion columns has been published, and is available on Amazon and Kindle in paperback or e-book,” Jan says.  Copies of the book are also available directly from Jan, by contacting her by email (jan@janwhitewriter.com) with your name, address, and phone number. A book signing will be held on Monday, December 14, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Tabby D’s Christian Book & Gift Shop.

She observes, “Having a weekly deadline requires discipline. Coming up with an idea every week can be challenging.  A blank computer screen can be intimidating.  I figure if a topic is interesting to me it could be interesting to my readers.  There are certain seasons of life that most of us have in common.”

Jan goes on to say, “From time to time during the past 25 years, readers have commented by email about how a particular column spoke to them.  Some folks have told me they have a folder of my columns clipped from the newspaper.  Hearing their positive feedback gives me encouragement to keep on keeping on.”

Jan states, “Publishing this collection of my columns has been my goal for several years. Now, it’s a joy to see it in print.
