4 ARRESTED IN CAR CHASE THAT ENDED IN ELBA

Four men are behind bars after leading law enforcement on a chase all the way from Covington County to Elba on Monday afternoon.
The group was in a car on 331 South coming from Florala. Before they reached Opp a State Trooper tried to pull them over for excessive speeding at 1:05 p.m., but they fled.
Along the way, the trooper had a blowout and Opp Police Department took over until they reached Elba. During the chase, several drugs were thrown out the window but were recovered.
The vehicle finally struck a curb where it was disabled. The occupants attempted to flee but were taken into custody.
Joquan Cypress, 18, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is currently held on a $102,500 bond. David Fuggerson, 20, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is currently held on a $102,500 bond. Broderick Weathersby, 28, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second and possession of drug paraphernalia, and held on a $102,500 bond. Taron Clayborne, 25, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second and possession of drug paraphernalia driving under the influence, attempting to elude and reckless endangerment, and is currently being held on a $170,000 bond.
