BARBARA J. GREEN BEDELL THURMAN
Barbara J. Green Bedell Thurman of Andalusia, AL passed away Monday, October 12, 2020. She was 64.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
Barbara was born March 17, 1956 in Geneva, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Cleve Green; mother, Mary G. Hicks Green Blocker; husband, Jack Bedell; step-father, Edward Blocker; sister, Carolyn S. Green Turner; and step-brother, Kent Blocker.
She is survived by her husband, William Dennis Thurman; brothers, James E. Green (Nell) and Jimmy L. Green (Mickey); step-brothers, Delbert Blocker (Donna) and Nate Blocker; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Straughn High School and attended Gulf Coast Community College.

CLARENCE WILLIAM ALCORN “THE ROCK MAN”
Mr. Clarence William Alcorn “The Rock Man” of Andalusia passed away Friday, October 9, 2020. On October 10, 2020, he would have been 90 years of age.
Mr. Alcorn was preceded in death by his 1st wife of 50 years, Jeanne Giske Alcorn, and daughters, Rebecca Giske & Camilla Dennis.
Left to cherish his memory, wife of 18 years, Corene McGregor Alcorn; sons, Fred Alcorn and Thomas Alcorn (Michelle); daughters, Nancy Alcorn, Laurel Alcorn, Frances Alcorn, and Majorie Downs (Jerry). Grandchildren, James Henderson, Jerry Henderson, David Alcorn, John Robinson, Kevin Dennis, Jennifer Alcorn, Philip Wares, Christopher Alcorn, Kimberlee Simpson, Josef Kugler, Michael Kugler, Katherine Kugler, Victoria Kugler, Rachel McIntyre, Abigail Czeizinger, Nicholas Waagen, Emily Fox, and Nathan Waaen and many great-grandchildren.
By profession, Mr. Alcorn was a Draftsman with the Washington State Highway Department An extreme rock enthusiast, he was recognized nationally and internationally as a rock lecturer and rock seller. He also enjoyed hiking and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with services.
THOMAS J.R. MEFFORD
Mr. Thomas J.R. Mefford, age 93 of Andalusia, passed away on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at his home, of natural causes. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 19th, 2020 at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge, AL. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th, 2020 from 3:30-5:30PM at Foreman Funeral Home.
Mr. Mefford was born in Turley, TN and was a WWII veteran that served in the Navy. He later went on to serve his country for 30 years and retire from the Army. Later, he worked and retired from the U.S. Postal service in Opp, AL.
Mr. Mefford is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Clarice “Tillie” Watson Mefford of Andalusia, four daughters, Nancy (Larry) Crosby of Andalusia, Cindy Mefford of Andalusia, Cathy Jimmerson of Pensacola, FL, Vicky (David) Whitehurst of Andalusia; eight grandchildren, George Bradley Davis, Cynthia (Ashley) Lawrence, Tommy Mefford, Amanda (Brian) Nagle, Dray Mefford, Allyson Jimmerson, Steven (Stephanie) Jimmerson, Sarah Beth (Anthony) Carpenter, four great-grandchildren, Sadie Carpenter, Colton Carpenter, Kaleb Summer, Annie Jimmerson; her brother, Herman Mefford of Jacksboro, TN; her sister, Mary Lou Phillips of Jacksboro, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Ida Mefford, and his brothers, Theodore Mefford and Curtis Mefford.

LLOYD EUGENE MOORE
Mr. Lloyd Eugene Moore, 65, of Andalusia died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Andalusia Praise and Worship Center with Glenn Vaughn and Joey Ogletree officiating.
Mr. Moore was born in Andalusia and spent his early life there. He attended Andalusia High School and later moved to Daleville, Alabama and spent most of his life as a truck driver until his retirement when he later moved to Orlando, Florida with his fiancé, Deborah Starkweather. He loved to fish, watch Alabama football, and travel back and forth to Huntsville by plan to visit his son Nick and bring his grandson River back with him to visit.
Mr. Moore is survived by his fiancé, Deborah Starkweather; two brothers, Kenny (Debbie) Moore and Mike (Dana) Moore; sister-in-law, Barbara Boykin; two sons, Evan (Angela) Moore and Nicholas (Angela) Moore; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his mother and father, Louis A. Moore and Florence E. Moore, and his two brothers, Billy Gene Boykin and Jimmy Boykin.
