Andalusia Health among hospitals to receive masks

Following his appointment to Chairman of the Economic Development Committee for the United States Heartland China Association (USHCA), Secretary of State John H. Merrill has secured masks for 17 of Alabama’s hospitals amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 17 hospitals across the State of Alabama who will receive masks as a result of Secretary Merrill’s involvement include:
• Andalusia Health
• Choctaw General Hospital
• Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center
• Jackson Medical Center
• Highlands Medical Center
• Medical Center Barbour
• Jackson Hospital and Clinic
• Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama
• Hill Hospital of Sumter County
• Grove Hill Memorial Hospital
• Coosa Valley Medical Center
• Mobile Infirmary Medical Center
• Athens-Limestone Hospital
• Thomasville Regional Medical Center
• DW McMillian Hospital
• Atmore Community Hospital
• Elmore Community Hospital
“Alabama’s hospitals are filled with some of the most capable and qualified staff in the country. It is important that our healthcare workers are adequately supplied with personal protective equipment,” stated Secretary of State John H. Merrill. “I am grateful to our partners at USHCA who assisted our Office in securing masks for Alabama’s hospitals. Together, we will overcome this virus because that’s the American way.”
