APD seeking assistance in capturing suspect in auto burglary

The Andalusia Police Department is asking for assistance from the public as it seeks to solve a number of vehicle burglaries, and also reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked.
The APD is currently investigating vehicle burglaries that took place late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, April 28 and 29. As of 3 p.m., burglaries had been reported on Sanford Road, Faircloth Street, Lakeview Drive, Sunset Drive, Rosewood Drive and McRainey Loop.
Anyone who lives in these areas and video surveillance, or anyone who has information about the burglaries is asked to contact the Andalusia Police Department at 334-222-1155 and ask for Lt. Jody Scott.
Chief Paul Hudson also reminds residents to keep their vehicles and storage areas locked.
