A good citizen informant who responded to a request for help by the Andalusia Police Department helped resolve a case in which several motor vehicles were broken into on River Falls Street on Monday night.
Sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday, a male subject broke into several vehicles. With the help of security footage and a good citizen, the APD identified Micah Brian Myrick as a suspect.
Myrick confessed to the crimes committed when questioned by the APD. He was subsequently charged with four counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and four counts of theft of property fourth degree.
Myrick was transported to the Covington County Jail and held on a total of $52,000 bond.
