“We have prepared 560 meatballs and 56 trays of lasagna,” Organizer Kathy Frye said. “You can come pick up plates or come in for dinner. This community has worked so hard to prepare for this annual Italian dinner in support of our youth. There is so much love and support put into this and service by so many helping hands.”
The menu this year will consist of regular lasagna, veggie lasagna and gluten-free lasagna.
The ladies’ group at the church prepares a cappuccino bar with all sorts of desserts including Trimish, Italian Cream Cake, Cannoli, Brownies, Biscotti, Red Velvet Cake, Cheesecake.
There is also a choice of spaghetti and meatballs, Pizzelle, homemade bread (with seasoned olive oil or butter on tables) salad with homemade red wine and vinegar.
Christ the King Youth will be serving at the dinner and taking drink orders with the choice of tea, lemonade, water or coffee.
