passed away Tue., Sept. 3,

2019, in Greenville Nursing

Facility. She was 90.

Funeral services will be 11

a.m., Fri., Sept. 6, 2019, at

Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive

friends at Keahey Chapel

one hour before services.

Rev. Tyler Ingram will officiate.

Interment will follow in

Stone Lake Gardens. Serving

as pallbearers will be Gary

Young, Robert Welch, Jim

McCloskey, David Huffman,

Darren Huffman, and Jason

Owens.

Left to cherish her memory

are her daughters, Peggy

(James) McCloskey of Red

Level; Patti (Gary) Young

of Lockhaven, PA; Susan

(Robert) Welch of Dozier;

numerous grandchildren,

great-grandchildren and

great-great-grandchildren

and numerous nieces and

nephews.

She was preceded in death

her husbands, Jack Skapnit

and Howard Finley and a

son, Tommy Lee Skapnit.

Mrs. Virginia Garret

Hicks, age 91 of Montgomery,

passed away on Sept.

4, 2019. She was preceded

in death by her husband of

64 years, Cleveland Hicks;

her infant son; Kenneth C.

Hicks; her parents, W.M. and

Sadie Garrett; her brother

and his wife, Robert E. and

Martha Garrett. She is survived

by her son and daughter-

in-law, Retta and Larry

Phillips; her granddaughters;

Laura Phillips and Rachel

Phillips; her great grandson,

Kyle Keever; and her

many cousins, nieces, and

nephews. She was a faithful

member of the church of

Christ.

A graveside service will

be held at Cedar Grove

church of Christ cemetery

in Andalusia on Sat., Sept.

7, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. A

memorial celebration will be

held at GracePointe church

of Christ in Montgomery

Alabama on Sun., Sept. 15,

2019, at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Jacqueline L. Jones,

age 79, of Andalusia, passed

away on Thu., Sept. 5, 2019,

at her residence.

A funeral service will be

held at 11 a.m., Monday

morning, Sept. 9, 2019, at

Zion Hill Baptist Church

with John McMath and Roger

Lee officiating the service.

Interment will follow at Zion

Hill cemetery.

is survived by her two sons;

Jones of Andalusia, her

six grandchildren; Jonathan

(Pam) Jones of Cartersville,

Ga., Tony (Breanna) Willis,

Drew Jones, Jeremiah Jones

(Sarah Lindsey), Shane

Jones, and Hayden Willis.

Mrs. Jacqueline L. Jones is

survived by four great grandchildren;

Alexis Brown,

Jacob Jones, Ethan Willis,

and Maddox Jones, her two

brothers, Eddie (Bobbie)

Lankford of Andalusia and

Tommy (Marian) Lankford

of Atlanta, Ga.

She is preceded in death

by her husband, Fred Jones,

her mother, Erceline Lankford

Wright, and her father,

Edward Arthur Lankford.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan

Jones, Drew Jones,

Jeremiah Jones, Tony Willis,

Shane Jones, and Buddy

Wilks.

Visitation for friends will

be from 10 a.m., until 11

a.m., Mon., Sept. 9, 2019, at

Zion Hill Baptist Church.
