The Straughn High School Tigers fell to the Headland Home High School Rams, 48-12, Friday night.

Head coach Joel Williams said there is still a lot of work to do for the rest of the season.

“Number one, this is a absolute rebuilding process,” Williams said. “The positives that I saw from this game were that we weren’t turning the ball over on offense, we only had one penalty on offense, we had four or five takeaways on defense and we were in double digit numbers for tackles for losses. Defensively, the big plays got us. We have got a very long way to go and we just have to learn how to win games.”

The Tigers face off next Friday night at home against St. James High School.
