DEFENDING THE TITLE: Lady Eagles ready for 2019 season

The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles will look to defend their 2018 state championship as they prepare for the 2019 volleyball season.
The defending Class 1A state champions will open up the regular season on Aug. 22 at home against the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers. The opening season match is schedule for 6 p.m.
Pleasant Home makes its first road trip of the season on Aug. 27 when they travel to Luverne to take on the Lady Tigers at 6 p.m.
On Aug. 29, the Straughn Lady Tigers come to Pleasant Home for a match beginning at 6 p.m.
The Lady Eagles travel to Opp on Sept. 5 for a match against the Lady Bobcats at 6 p.m.
Pleasant Home returns home on Sept. 9 for a match against the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Pleasant Home will travel to Brewton on Sept. 10 to take on the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers beginning at 6 p.m.
On Sept. 12, the Luverne Lady Tigers come to Pleasant Home for a match beginning at 6 p.m.
The Lady Eagles begin Class 1A, Area 2 play on Sept. 19 at Red Level against the Lady Tigers beginning at 6 p.m.
Pleasant Home stays in area play on Sept. 24 when they travel to McKenzie for a match beginning at 5 p.m.
The Lady Eagles return home on Sept. 26 when the Brantley Lady Bulldogs come to town for a match at 6 p.m.
Pleasant Home jumps back into area play on Oct. 1 with a home match against the Red Level Lady Tigers at 5 p.m.
Area play continues on Oct. 3 when the Lady Eagles travel to Florala for a match with the Lady Wildcats at 5 p.m.
The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles will host the McKenzie Lady Tigers for an area match on Oct. 8 beginning at 5 p.m.
Pleasant Home closes out area play and the regular season on Oct. 15 with a home match at 5 p.m., against the Florala Wildcats.
