Andalusia High School’s Adam Kilpatrick finished tied for 13th place in the 74th Alabama Boys State Junior Championship at Indian Hills Country Club.

“I’ve been working really hard on my game and it has paid off this week,” Kilpatrick said. “This week has been so much fun. It was a great way to end summer golf.”

Kilpatrick’s tournament started with an opening round of 76.

In the second round, Kilpatrick lowered his score with a round of 73.

Following the second round, they cut the number of players from 132 down to 60.

Kilpatrick was in the top 60 and moved on to the third and final round.

In the final round, Kilpatrick turned in a scored of 69.

With a total score of 218, Kilpatrick tied with five other golfers for 13th place.
