Agnes Russell Morrison

Mrs. Agnes Russell Morrison, age 84, of Opp, Alabama died Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edgar Pete Morrison; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Allen Morrison & Cindy; daughter-in-law, Dianne Morrison; grandchildren, Tara Hardinger (Anthony Laney), Mindy Morrison (John Cottle) and Amy Nolen (Cale); great-grandchildren, Marc & Micah Laney, Lexie & Garrett Cross, Mandi Cottle, John Hayden Fuller, Jordan Allen Jacobs, Kelsey Suzanne Jacobs, Kylee Marie Jacobs & Carson Bentley Nolen; and great-great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Pierson Cross.

She was born in 1934 to her late parents, Pearlie and Charlie Russell. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Gary Morrison; brothers, C.T. Russell and James Russell and wife, Sarah; and sisters, Selma McCurley and husband, James, and Mary Lois Grimes and husband, Johnny.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Stewart Young will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Edward Grimes, Wayne Grimes, John Cottle, Mike Russell, Cale Nolen and Joe Henley. The family will receive friends at the home of Pete Morrison, 310 Dorsey St, Opp.
