National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. The 2019 National Nurses Week theme is “4 Million Reasons to Celebrate.”  Mizell Memorial Hospital will be recognizing their nurses during this week. Mizell employs approximately 90 nursing staff members made up of Patient Care Technicians, LPNs, and RNs.   Looking on as Mayor Becky Bracke signs the Nurses Week Proclamation are (from left) Jana Wyatt, Mizell CEO/CFO; Sherry Jinks, chief nursing office; and Barbara Sexton, chief operating officer.
