Bruce R. Strickland and Margo Rabren Chesser, who were high school sweethearts for many years, will marry on April 27, 2019, at Carolina Baptist Church at 2 p.m.

Ms. Margo Rabren Chesser is the daughter of the late Morris E. and Betty Jo Rabren.

She was the prior owner and managing cosmetologist of Margo’s Style Shop and Tanning Salon, established in 1982, and retired in 2012. She is currently employed with Andalusia City Schools as a bus driver.

Mr. Bruce R. Strickland is the son of the late Charles H. and Pauline Brenda Strickland and current stepmother Joyce Strickland of Bufford, Ga.

He is a retired naval officer with 22 years of service. He is also a retired from working with Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare in the State of Ohio.

Strickland obtained degrees from the Ohio State University and University of Alabama in nursing and is currently enjoying full retirement.

No invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to the wedding at Carolina Baptist Church, 17745 Rockhole Bridge Road, Andalusia 36420, at 2 p.m., and the reception to follow at Kirkpatrick Park, Beatrice St., Andalusia.
