Rainfall totals trending down compared to 2018

The Choctawhatchee, Pea and Yellow Rivers Watershed Management Authority recorded 3.04 inches of rain in March at Yellow River in Covington County.

That’s two inches less than the rain that fell in March of 2018. Year to date, only 9.4 inches have been recorded there, as opposed to 15.36 inches in the same period last year.

The Choc-Pea Water Authority recorded 2.92 inches of rain at the  Yellow River on Hwy. 84, compared to 3.74 inches last year. Year to date, 9.29 inches of rain was recorded on Hwy. 84, compared to 12.8 inches in the first three months of 2018.
