Red Level falls to Luverne Tigers

The Red Level Tigers grabbed an early lead, but fell 15-4 to the Luverne Tigers on Monday night in the opening round of the Butch Youmans Spring Break Tournament in Opp.
Kade Green got things started with an infield single for Red Level in the top of the first inning.
Bryson Pate then reached off of an error.
Red Level loaded the bases when Braxton Lee dropped a perfect bunt down the third-base line.
Tucker Livings was then hit by a pitch to bring the first run in to score.
Red Level increased the lead to 2-0 when Zavier Phillips drove in a run.
Luverne earned a walk to start the bottom of the first inning and then tried to bunt the runner over to second.
Red Level threw the batter out at first, but other runner tip toed too far from second and Red Level got him in a run down.
Chance Russell then tagged the runner out attempting to go to third.
Green got the next batter to fly out for the final out of the inning.
In the bottom of the second inning, the Luverne bats heated up as the went up 7-2.
Luverne added six more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Red Level wasn’t going to lay down as they scratched across two runs in the top of the fifth inning.
However, it wasn’t enough to keep the game going as Red Level fell 15-4.
