A traffic stop Wednesday afternoon resulted in the driver being charged with numerous drug offenses.

APD Officer Jonathan Pitts stopped Trava K. Chambers, 25, of Andalusia, at the intersection of North Cotton Street and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Expressway.

Chambers of Andalusia was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Pitts recovered ectasy, marijuana and synthetic marijuana, all packaged for sale.

Chambers is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $20,500 bond.
