AHS tennis teams improve to 3-1

The Andalusia Bulldog tennis teams both moved to 3-1 on the year after knocking off Brewbaker Tech on Monday in Montgomery.

In boys’ action, the Bulldogs came away with a 9-0 sweep over Brewbaker Tech.

Matthew Beasley earned an 8-1 victory over Aaron Bates.

Dong Goan Kim picked up an 8-0 victory over Thomas Nichols.

Noah Gooden came away with an 8-2 over Connor Orlandi.

Raleigh Capps finished off the boys’ singles with an 8-0 win over Korban Traywick.

In boys’ doubles, Eojin Kim and Davin Scruggs picked up an 8-2 win.

Haden Jackson and Sam Dalton earned an 8-0 victory to finish off the doubles.

In the girls’ singles action, the Lady Bulldogs picked up an 8-1 victory over Brewbaker Tech.

Alyssa Jones lost 8-4 to Jaline Burt.

Anabell Bryant picked up the first win for the Lady Bulldogs with an 8-0 victory over Meghan Spurlock.

Michealyn Russell earned an 8-2 win over Kyara Brown.

Madeline Miller kept things going with an 8-0 win over Callie Baker.

Mei Chen finished off the girls’ singles with an 8-0 victory over Faith Graves.

In girls’ doubles action, the Lady Bulldogs finished off the day with an 8-2 and an 8-3 victory.
