Registrations set for kindergarten

Kindergarten registration is right around the corner for all the schools in the county. Children must be five years old on or before Sept. 1 to register for kindergarten in the 2019-20 school year.
Here are the registration dates and what parents need to bring to the registration.
• Andalusia Elementary School: Thurs., March 21, from 8 a.m., until 6 p.m., in the Andalusia Elementary School conference room. Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunizations records and their child’s social security card. Their child needs to be present.
• Straughn Elementary School: Fri., March 22, from 8 a.m., until 1 p.m. at Straughn Elementary School. Parents need to bring proof of residence, such as a utility bill, immunization records, their child’s social security card and custody documents, if applicable.
• Red Level Elementary School: Fri., March 15, at Red Level Elementary School. Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunizations records and their child’s social security card. Their child needs to be present.
• W.S. Harlan Elementary School: Fri., March 15, at W.S. Harlan starting at 8:15 a.m. Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization records and their child’s social security card.
• Pleasant Home School: Fri., March 22, from 8:30 a.m., until 1 p.m., at Pleasant Home School. Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization records and their child’s social security card. Their child needs to present.
• Fleeta Jr. High: Fri., March 8, from 8 a.m., until 1 p.m., at Fleeta. Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization records and their child’s social security card.
• Opp Elementary School has not set a date yet.
