ESTHER JANE GARRETT
Mrs. Esther Jane Garrett of Andalusia passed away Dec. 25, 2018, at the age of 84.
Visitation for Mrs. Garrett will be today, Fri., Dec. 28, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel, from 5 p.m., to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sat., Dec. 29, at 10 a.m., also at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m., at London Baptist Church Cemetery in Castleberry, Ala.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by one son Bobby (Terry) Garrett of Greensboro, Ala.; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Allen of Lakelyn, Fla., and Jayson (Sarah) Garrett of Arlington, Va. Mrs. Garrett also had two loving great-grandchildren, Garrett Allen and Rose Garrett.
Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Leotis Garrett, in 2017; and her son, William “Bill” Garrett.
JESSIE ARNOLD BERRY
Mr. Jessie Arnold Berry, age 91, of Dozier, passed away Tues., Dec. 25, 2018, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Sat., Dec. 29, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Brother Gary Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The visitation will be held Friday from 5 p.m., to 7 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his sons, David Berry of Greenville, Ala., and Jody Berry of Groveland, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Edward Stephens of Dozier and Jean and Glenn Baxter of Danielville, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and a sister and brother-n-law, Glenda and Judd Granger of Andalusia.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Berry; son, Gerald Berry; daughter, Juanita Carroll; grandson, Jake Berry; and great-great grandson, Jordan Boone.
Pallbearers will be Todd Baxter, Cole Richards, Wade Richards, David Berry, Gary Berry, and Zolly Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 13182 Oak Grove Road, Dozier, Ala., 36028.

GRABLE LEE RICKS
Mr. Grable Lee Ricks, Jr., 82, of Daphne, Ala., formerly of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Dec. 23, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born in Dublin, Ga., on Jan. 29, 1936, and moved his family to Andalusia in 1965, where he resided until 2012, when he moved to Daphne, Ala.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Fri., Dec. 28, at First Baptist Church of Andalusia with Brother William Worley, Brother Tim Trent, and Brother Gary Miller officiating. The visitation will be held Friday from 12:30 p.m., – 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn McCook Ricks; along with his four children, Grable Lee Ricks III and his wife Annette of Beaumont, Miss., Cindy Ricks McGuffin and husband Randy of Daphne, Terri Ricks Hudgens and her husband Terry of Opp, Ala., and Susan Ricks Castillo and husband Gary of Andalusia; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Grable Ricks Sr.; mother, Helen Finney Ricks; and brother, C. Finney Ricks.
Pallbearers will be Jason Mooney, Tom McGuffin, Blake Turner, Chad Williams, Jordan Lesh, Clay Ricks, Chris Ricks and Tommy Barrantine.
