In the first game of the day, the Red Level Lady Tigers came out strong and knocked off the Florala Lady Wildcats 27-13 in the Covington County Junior High basketball tournament on Wednesday in Florala.

“I thought we started out really good and played good defense,” Red Level head coach Allen Catrett said. “We came out and made some shots and got a little relaxed in the second half. Overall, the girls gave a good effort.”

Red Level will play Straughn tonight at 5 for the girls’ championship.
