The Covington County Sheriff’s Office will host a Firearms Familiarization Class on Sat., Nov. 3. The class will cover handgun safety, proper handling techniques, and efficient firing of handguns.

To participate in the class, attendees will need to provide their own handgun, at least 50 rounds of ammunition, hearing protection, and eye protection. 

The event is set for 8:30 a.m. at the Covington County Firing Range located on 55 North in Red Level.
