The Opp Police Department is investigating a Sunday night stabbing that involved a female juvenile.

The juvenile had been transported to Mizell Memorial Hospital’s emergency room by private vehicle when the OPD arrived at the Hardage Circle scene. She was treated for a laceration and a stab wound, the OPD said.

An 18-year-old female has been identified as the suspect. The investigation is ongoing, the OPD said.
