Red Level High School will induct three new members into the Tiger Hall of Fame tonight at halftime of the homecoming football game against Calhoun.

Dewayne Jeter, Winston Foshee and coach Bobby Dye are the 2018 inductees.

Jeter was a 1980 graduate and he played receiver/tight end and defensive end for the Tigers. He led the conference in scoring his junior and senior seasons. He was named to the All-State team by the Montgomery Advertiser and the Birmingham News.

Foshee played football for Red Level from 1954-58. He was a member of the 1957 state championship team. He had 25 rushing touchdowns as a senior and was named to the All-State team.

Coach Dye’s coaching career begin in 1976 with Ft. Polk Knights where he went 48-2 over five years.

Dye came to Red Level in 1988 and was the head coach until 1999. He then had brief stops at McKenzie and Monroe County before returning to Red Level in 2000 as an assistant coach. He has three grandsons carrying on the football tradition: Trae’ Bowen, assistant coach at Thorsby High School, Kenny Skipper is the head coach at Red Level, and Ethan Edson is starting center for Red Level.
