Dr. Mary Massey, an educator and author of children’s literature who has published three books highlighting the concept of multiple intelligences, spoke with the students of W.S. Harlan Elementary School on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018. Dr. Massey used Ellie Rae Discovers Eight Ways to Be SMART, her first book, to illustrate to the students their dominant intelligences, while also emphasizing that they all have all eight intelligences and can strengthen each as they learn and grow. Dr. Massey also spoke to students in English and gifted classes about how to write and publish books.
