The Red Level Tigers (3-1, 3-0) look to keep their winning streak going as they prepare to take on Calhoun (0-4, 0-3) on Friday for homecoming in Red Level.

“This is the kind of week where we focus a lot on us,” Red Level head coach Kenny Skipper said. “There are a lot of things we need to work on. I thought we played good on offense, but we gave up too many big plays on defense.”

Skipper said he is thrilled with how the season is going, but says there are still areas to improve.

“It’s not hard to find something to get better at each day,” Skipper said. “Our biggest thing is that we can’t be complacent. I’m so proud of what we have accomplished and there is a lot of excitement. At the end of the day, we have to get ready for the next one. They guys have done a great job buying into everything that we have told them.”

Keeping up the intensity is something Skipper said he hopes to see.

“Last week, we were down by two touchdowns twice and we refused to quit,” Skipper said. “We can fix the small things and as long as we keep fighting like that we are going to be all right.”

At halftime of the game, Red Level will honor three members being inducted in this year’s Hall of Fame.

Coach Bobby Dye, Dewayne Jeter and Winston Foshee will be inducted.

Coach Dye’s family invites anyone that played for him to join them on the field at halftime.

Kickoff between Red Level and Calhoun are set for 7 p.m., on Friday.
