At approximately 7:45 PM this evening, the Andalusia Police Dept. received several calls about gunshots being heard in the area of Little Street and Carlton Street, to which officers immediately responded.

Chief Paul Hudson stated officers are looking for a silver Ford Focus that was observed in the area at the time of the incident.

“We currently have no further information on the vehicle or its occupant or occupants. We would like to ask the public for assistance in this matter. If you have any information about this incident, please contact the APD at 334-222-1155.” said Hudson.

There were no injuries. Investigators are working to piece together the details and more information will be released when available.
