JAMES STEWART KNOWLES
Mr. James Stewart Knowles, 75, of the Mobley Creek community, passed away Sat., Aug. 25, 2018, at his residence.
James was an avid fisherman and hunter and especially enjoyed turkey hunting. He loved to garden, play dominoes and watch the Weather Channel. Most days, he could be found hanging out with friends at “the barn.”
James was retired from the Andalusia Housing Authority. He attended Mobley Creek Baptist Church.
James will be sadly missed by his wife of 52 years, Rebecca Lynn Knowles; his children, Angela Knowles Jenkins (Joseph), Dennis Knowles (Darbee) and Callie Knowles; his grandchildren, Kayla Brooks, Jeffery McDowell, Zechariah Knowles and Hanah Jenkins; seven great-grandchildren; his siblings, Gordon Knowles (Martha), William Knowles, Glen Knowles (Madalyn), David Knowles (Mittie), Betty Parker and Alma Knowles.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eurie D. and Ruby Ward Knowles, and his brother, John D. Knowles.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Mon. Aug. 27, at Mobley Creek Baptist Church with Pastors Terry Powell and Keith Parker will be officiating. Interment will follow in Thomasson Cemetery across from Hopewell Baptist Church. Visitation was Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m., at Mobley Creek Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be: Joseph Jenkins, Jason Smith, Tony Wilson, Richard Knowles, James McDowell, and Daniel Davidson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Melillo and Chris Curry.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Mobley Creek Baptist Church.

BARBARA ELLEN FOWLER
Mrs. Barbara Ellen Fowler, 76, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Aug. 26, 2018, at Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wed., August 29, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Northup officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Susan Fowler, Tim and Chris Fowler of Dozier; a daughter, Renae Anderson of River Falls; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Betty Harrington of Pace, Fla.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret and John Little of Andalusia, and Shirley Barbaree of Pace, Fla.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Nelson.
Pallbearers will be Sam Fowler, Ben Anderson, Joey Jordan, Steve Long, Mike Nelson, and Jacob Long.

BELLAIRE BALLARD KRUDOP
The family of Bellaire Ballard Krudop will hold a celebration of his well-lived life from 3 until 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Hickory Ridge Lodge.
He died Fri., Aug. 24, surrounded by family members and good friends. He was 69.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Gantt Krudop; his brother, Dr. James D. Krudop (Holly); his nieces, Dr. Ashley Krudop Powell (Kyle) and Dr. Hadyn Krudop Swecker (Bart); great-nieces, Francie Powell and Addie Powell; great-nephews Foster Powell, Clifton Swecker, and Oliver Swecker; and sister-in-law, Denise Krudop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bellaire and Sara Frances Krudop, and his younger brother, Richard French Krudop.
