The Andalusia High School volleyball team is eager to get the season started later this month.

“We are still working on it,” Lady Bulldog head coach Angie Grimes said. “We are working and getting better every single day.”

Andalusia’s first game of the season will be on Aug. 30 in Kinston.

“There girls are excited to get the season started,” Grimes said. “We will be in my hometown for the first game of the season.”

Grimes said that they are a few things the Lady Bulldogs need to improve on before the season starts.

“There are a few things we are working to improve,” Grimes said. “The biggest thing will be to speed up of offense.”

The way her players are working together has impressed Grimes, she said.

“They have really come together to solve problems,” Grimes said. “That’s probably been the thing that has pleased me the most.”
