The LAAC will host a book signing at The Gallery on Thursday evening for local author Mark Hainds.

Hainds’ book, “Border Walk,” details his effort to become the first person to walk the entire Mexican-American border.

The reception is set for 5:30 until 7 p.m. He also will read excerpts.
