With Alabama’s primaries only a week away, at least three state and regional candidates are planning to campaign in Covington County this week.

The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with PowerSouth, will host a fish fry for U.S. Rep. Martha Roby from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Former U.S. Rep. Bobby Bright, who is challenging Roby, will campaign in Andalusia at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

And, gubernatorial candidate Scott Dawson will stop at Barrow’s in Andalusia at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, and at the train depot in Opp at 10:45 a.m.
