The Bulldogs began to surge when B.J. Anderson found Wilkerson on an alley-oop to extend the Andalusia lead.

Montgomery Catholic came out strong in the third period and built a 12-point lead on the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs then got a pair of 3-pointers from Drish and a basket from Anderson to cut the Montgomery Catholic lead down to 44-37 heading into the final period.

Drish picked up another 3-pointer after Montgomery Catholic responded with a 3-pointer.
Moments later, Drish drained another 3-pointer to put the Bulldogs up 51-50 with 1:45 left.
The Bulldogs were able to knock down their free throws in the final minute of the game to pull out the win.
With the win, the Bulldogs advance to the Class 4A South Regional Tournament on Saturday in Dothan.
Drish led the Bulldogs with 23 points and Anderson added 14 points.
“In the third period, they built a 12-point lead,” Andalusia head coach Anthony Clark said. “I told the guys that we have to take it one possession at a time. R.J. Drish just stepped up and hit six threes. That’s just a senior putting us on his back in the scoring column. I thought Poo (Weaver) made a good scoring drive one time to give us a cushion. This was a great job tonight.”
