LBW Community College in Andalusia brings Alabama State University President Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr. as guest speaker at 10 a.m. on Feb. 21, 2018, for a free, public presentation to celebrate Black History Month.

“Dr. Ross brings a wealth of experience in the field of education and in public service as an Alabama Senator,” said LBWCC President Dr. Herb Riedel. “His presentation is sure to be inspiring to our students and anyone from the community who would like to attend.”

Ross is a celebrated alumnus of Alabama State University, having earned a B.S. Degree in Political Science, an M.A. in Education, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership, Policy and Law.

He also served in the Alabama Senate for 15 years.
