Andalusia, Pleasant Home and Opp all came away with region wins in week seven, and the following players had a big role in pushing their teams to victories.
Top-ranked Andalusia came away with a 38-28 win over No. 4 Thomasville behind a big games from Ethan Wilson, B.J. Anderson and Roosevelt Weaver.
Wilson finished the game 10-for-19 with 143 yards and two touchdowns. Wilson also rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
Anderson had five catches for 43 yards and touchdown, and intercepted two passes including one he returned 77 yards for a score.
Weaver finished the game with 138 yards rushing on 11 carries.
Opp picked up a 35-14 win over Slocomb behind big games from Ashton Patel, Kevin Parreira, Ethan Baker and Reggie Thompson.
Patel led the Bobcats with 134 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries.
Parreira led the Bobcat defense with 12 total tackles and three sacks.
Thompson finished the game 12-for-18 passing for 180 yards and a touchdown. Thompson also added 126 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Baker finished the game with 10 total tackles and two sacks.
Pleasant Home earned a 35-33 victory over Florala with strong games from Nic Woods and Rico Bovino.
Woods came up with two big interceptions in the second half on Friday night to help secure the victory.
Bovino finished the night with 125 yards rushing.
