Pleasant Home gets big win

The Pleasant Home Eagles held off McIntosh 48-30 on Friday night in Pleasant Home.
“We started the game strong on offense, but we just weren’t able to contain their athletes,” Pleasant Home head coach Richard Mercer said. “They had some speedy athletes that were able to get outside on us.”
At halftime, Pleasant Home was on top 28-24.
“In the third quarter we really got things going,” Mercer said. “We made some adjustments on defense and were able to keep them contained.”
Quarterback Robert Scott threw three touchdowns to three different receivers.
Nic Woods had long touchdown catch and also rushed for one score.
Rico Bovino added a 50-yard touchdown on a screen pass.
Jon Cooley caught Scott’s third touchdown.
