Andalusia’s Verizon store has a new home, officials announced Monday.

Kendall Morris of the store, said that they moved across the street from the former location to the old Payless Shoes building next to JCPenney.

“We are so excited about our new location,” he said. “We think it will provide a more positive experience for our customers.”

Morris said one of the perks is better parking and accessibility to the store.

The store is also much bigger than the previous location, he said.

“Our customers are going to really enjoy our new furniture and layout,” he said.

Morris said the new location was needed because corporate wanted them to move into a better location.

Morris said the opening of the new location came just in time for fall phone season, which big players like Samsung and Apple release their new phones.

“Samsung has already announced their new Note 8,” he said. “Apple’s will come in a month.”

Morris said they are planning a grand opening on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2.
