The home seized as a result of a 2015 drug bust was auctioned Monday morning at a final sale price of $76,000, according to Circuit Clerk Amy Jones.
The proceeds from this sale will be used to help fund the operating expenses of the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force.
Several bidders participated in the auction.
The house was seized from Albert Dewayne Bonham two years ago after he was arrested for trafficking in cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana II. Bonham has since died and the state Court of Criminal Appeals upheld the condemnation of the home and more than $18,000 in July.
