Thank you to the City of Opp for the fantastic job you did hosting the 8U Cal Ripken State Tournament. The friendly volunteers started with the parking attendants, all the way to the field crew, and Willie Edwards was everywhere serving and leading with a smile!

The friendly volunteers were not the only thing that I was impressed with at the tournament. Willie and his team handled adversity really well with all of the rain we had during a short amount of time. I do not know the exact amount of rain that Opp had during this tournament, but I know it was a lot! I do not think a single game started behind schedule. Last but defiantly not least a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Mayor Becky Bracke and the city council.

The kids really liked the goody bags as well. Thank you again for a job well done this past weekend on the 8U Cal Ripken State Tournament!
