Board names new assistant principal at AES

Brenda Johnson was named assistant principal at Andalusia Elementary School Monday.
Johnson, who previously served as a guidance counselor at the school, has 25 years experience in education.
She replaces former assistant principal Joey Caldwell, who resigned in May.
The board also:
- Hired Hannah Rabren as speech pathologist at Andalusia Elementary.
- Hired Jennfier Burgans as cafeteria worker at AES.
- Hired James “Monty” Russell” as PE paraprofessional at AES.
- Hired Jessica Daniels as technology paraprofessional at AES.
- Hired Bill Clark as maintenance helper/bus driver at Andalusia City Schools.
- Transferred Garrett Windham from PE paraprofessional at AES to AHS.
- Granted tenure to Sara Catherine Patrick, English teacher at AHS.
- Accepted the resignation of Courtney Crews as AES special education teacher.
