2nd graders moved to blue zone at AES

The traffic pattern at Andalusia Elementary School will change slightly when school begins in August.

The second grade drop off/pick up zone will be moved to the blue zone, AES Principal Alane Brunson told board of education members Monday night.

Parents will enter the campus from Hyw. 29 at the lower drive in front of the school and follow the blue arrows.

Brunson said that second graders previously used the same zone as kindergarteners and first graders.

“This will allow us to supervise kindergarten and first grade more closely,” she said. “We are looking to make the process smoother and safer for students.”
