Those needing to vote absentee in the Aug. 15 special primary for the U.S. Senate should be able to secure an absentee ballot starting next week.

Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill’s office said that all 67 counties have already received the ballots.

Counties are required to make the ballots available no later than 55 days before the primary, which is June 21.

The last day to request an absentee ballot will be Aug. 10.
