Family and friends are still looking for a missing 31-year-old kayaker, according to social media posts.

Brandon Hancock, 31, was last seen kayaking Sunday night. On Monday morning, his kayak was found, but Hancock was not with it. Family members say they have not heard from him.

Multiple agencies, including Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s marine units, the Covington County EMA, Opp Fire Department, Covington County Sheriff’s Department, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, Elba Fire Department, and Alabama Game and Fish all participated in the search, according to the Opp Fire Department.

ALEA’s Trooper Kevin Cook said late Monday the agency has nothing to confirm anyone is actually missing.
