Barbara Tisdale has been selected as Trail Master of the Year by Frank Jackson Trail Masters. Barbara, the mother of three and grandmother of five, is married to Joe Tisdale.

Barbara and Joe became Trail Masters in 2008.

She spends most of her of her time outdoors working in the yards as well as at the lake helping with many projects there with fellow Trail Masters.

For the past two years, she has co-chaired Scarecrows in the Park, an event held in October and November at Frank Jackson State Park; in addition, she has co-chaired the concessions for the Trail Masters at the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo for the past four years.

This active member of the First United Methodist Church of Opp would like for everyone to have an appreciation for the natural beauty of the lake.

Her objective is to instill the desire to conserve, maintain, and clean not only the lake and state park, but for the community.
